656 Animals and Counting
On the 280 usable acres we have Tennessee Walker horses, Dexter cattle, a Royal yaak (who thinks she’s a sheep), Canadian geese, several breeds of meat, wool and dairy sheep, several breeds of dairy and meat goats, heritage chickens and turkeys, several breeds of dogs each having their own jobs of guarding, herding and pets who think they can herd and guard, and several cats to do the moussing. We also have the addition of hundreds of wild birds some of which offer beauty and grace as well as some that offer destruction by eating the seeds we plant on our fields.

The Running of the Lambs is an event not to be missed. Our daughter has talked about it for many months since it happened and she’s TWO! It left a lasting impression for her and for mama. Everything from the tour to the animals to the budding little store to the big beautiful dog, Puppy… we LOVE it ALL!!!
Such a great tour…our girls had a blast & the animals were fantastic. They asked if we can do it every year in April & I said ABSOLUTELY!
Had the best time here today- met all the animals- sampled unbelievable goat’s milk and honey- Cheryl and John are the best!
