Tennessee Walker Horses

Tennessee walkers are horses that are well known for their running-walk. They were bred to be used on farms and plantations. Because of their calm disposition. smooth gate and the fact that they are sure-footed, they are well suited for the show ring, for farming and for casual riding. The Tennessee Walkers on the farm have been used by the Stahl family for many such reasons. They were used as pack horses during hunts, site seeing in the Bob Marshall, and casual riding. Now they are used for the yearly herding of the sheep on Mount Jumbo.
