Pilgrim Geese

Pilgrim Geese are medium sized as far as geese go. They are calm, personable and easy to butcher. They are considered a dual-purpose bird, providing both meat and eggs. Geese also make great guard dogs as they alert those around them of intruders and they can be used as lawnmowers since they love eating lush, green grass. Pilgrim geese are perfect for small farms and backyard water fowl enthusiasts. As you can tell there are only a few geese on the farm but the numbers are growing every year. It is a beautiful, majestic site to watch them as they gracefully glide across the pond.
